Marta

I have utilized Marta Mobility for the past two years. Ever since I started using the scooter. Now the scooter has been a blessing. It helps me to move super quickly, almost giving me the impression that I’m running. ALMOST. Marta Mobility has not been such a blessing. They are hours late! Usually, I just pace around which makes the time go by quicker. Plus as long as I do it correctly, the walking helps improve itself. Just two Thursdays ago they were short staffed and they had to throw me onto an already full bus. Between the extra time it took them to pick me up and all the drop offs they had to do; I was dropped off at my warm, safe home 4 hours later!  Then this last Thursday they tried to get in contact with the driver, but they could not. After 2 and a half hours of waiting my co-worker was sweet enough to take me home. I’m starting to think it’s a problem with the day Thursday! Wait a second they’re hours late about half the time, so who am I kidding!

Gummy vitamins

Since the car wreck, swallowing has been a burden for me. I used to have to eat mushed up food in a blender. I did that for about 6 months and needless to say the smoothie joints got a lot of my business. Then after taking a swallow study, I was able to swallow somewhat, but I had to drink thickened liquids.
For about 5 years now I have been able to eat anything, but swallowing pills is still hard. That’s why I try to drink something other than water and one that has a little consistency when I swallow pills. I try to remain pretty healthy and in doing so, I like to take vitamins. Vitamins are mostly in pill form, except for gummy vitamins. Gummy Vitamins are great! They are easy to swallow and come in a variety of flavors. Gummy Vitamins are good even for people that haven’t sustained an injury. Try them today and you’ll see what I mean!

Georgia Perimeter College

Graduating from Auburn was difficult to say the very least, but they did however cut me major breaks.  There is one in particular that I would like to talk about. All of the core classes I had to take on campus. I’m guessing that’s because no other college offers the same ideas and curriculum as Auburn. I had about 4 core left that needed to be completed, so I had to ride to and from Auburn one day per week and sit in for the class. However, the elective courses, those are the extra fun and intriguing courses that are not in your major, I could take anywhere. So I researched a lot of colleges and I had to think whether they were worth traveling to. Then I found one that was about 10 minutes from my house, Georgia Perimeter College. Better yet, I found that I could take the courses on-line! Georgia Perimeter is a two- year college that offers an associate’s degree.  I had to find out whether the credits would transfer into Auburn and I learned that most of the ones I wanted could easily transfer. So I started the on-line classes. Taking on-line classes was not my primary intention, but it accomplished the goal I wanted to achieve
