Jeff Foxworthy

People that love comedy love Jeff Foxworthy. Especially those who like Southern Comedy, but I bet you didn’t know how Christian this man is.
He has been teaching a bible school class filled with homeless men for years! My mother and I ran into him at North Point Community Church one day. We asked him for a donation to my therapy that costs $100 per hour. Any therapy helps me! He said yes! We exchanged e-mails and I started back with therapy.
At the current time, I was also looking for employment. By that time I had tried just about everything except I had not asked the Foxworthy’s. So I decided to ask his wife through e-mail if she knew of any job positions out there. She did not, but I ended up with the perfect job. An Information Project Specialist at Parent to Parent!

SouthEast

So before I started using the unreasonably late Marta Mobility, I had to use this organization called SouthEast Transportation. It was through Medicaid and I’m about to explain how it worked. SouthEast Trans had several driving companies that they used to distribute the rides to.
I’ve already talked to you about my issues with driving, but I wanted to talk to you about a very important item that could make or break my day. The dreaded fax. The night before Southeast Trans would send out the faxes to the different companies in order to inform them who to pick up. So I used to hope and pray that they would send the fax over to North Fulton Transportation to come and pick me up. Unfortunately, it was done very late notice and I had to decide last minute if I wanted to ride with whoever they sent the fax to.
I’m about fed up with both Marta and Southeast. I’m just sick and tired of waiting.

Meeting

Several years ago, during my initial time in Beyond Therapy at Shepherd Center, the therapists surprised me with a meeting. Now meetings are usually bad. The therapists will probably tell you that you’ve plateaued, or stopped making progress. A billion thoughts were going through my head. One was we had this kind family member that gave me money, which was placed in a trust fund. I knew that the  money was supposed to be spent on therapy and I did not want to give it back to her.  I also thought that maybe I can do therapy by myself, I knew their specific cues and I walk enough I can do it by myself!
I have been doing physical therapy for 8 years and it still is beneficial.  I hope this will not always be the case. Turns out the meeting was about their need for me to participate in therapy more regularly in order to make a difference. I breathed a sigh of relief!
